The apartment has been designed as a free-flowing space with no doors (except on the toilet), allowing light to travel unhindered from side to side and end to end. There's a bedroom area (double bed), kitchen area, sitting area (sofa bed), and separate bathroom and toilet.

One of the most spacious apartments/guesthouses in the centre of St Petersburg.
230 square metre apartment is situated directly opposite the garden of the Academy of Arts. The Hermitage, St Isaac's, and the Mariinsky Theatre are all 15-20 minutes' walk away; the Menshikov Palace is only 5. Nearest metro station: 6 minutes. Turn right out of our front door, walk 150 metres, and you find yourself on the bank of the main river, with all of the centre of St Petersburg spread before you. Opposite and a little to the left are St Isaac's and the statue of the Bronze Horseman. Beside you are the twin sphinxes crouching solemnly on the embankment in front of the Academy of Arts. This is an ideal spot from which to watch the raising of the bridges on summer nights.

Our neighbourhood is lively Nevsky with its 24-hour action is 5 minutes' walk away; 3 metro stations are 3-5 minutes from us; the Dostoevsky Museum is just around the corner; and there's a whole street of some of the most varied bars, cafes, and restaurants in the city just the other side of Vladimir Cathedral. Yet, when you enter our courtyard, the pace changes: all the bustle of the street falls away - leaving classical columns (the Museum of the Arctic and Antarctic - actually, an old church), space in which to think, and the wonderful Petersburg light.
