Some people who study Russian or want to know Russian culture prefer living in a host family. It helps to understand better the character, traditions, mentality of Russian people and get extra practice of language every day!
All the families that we offer have good recommendation. They often call our hosts Russian mums for their sociability, care, kindness and eagerness to help and teach something new!
There is one rule: we speak only Russian, so don't worry about the lack of the practice! However all our families speak everyday English (and sometimes also other foreign languages — German or Italian).
While staying in a host family you would be served with dishes of traditional Russian cuisine. Please, note the Russian food could differ from the food of your country or the food from a restaurant or a cafe. If you have any allergies or special diet requirements (vegetarian, vegan, lactose-free etc.), feel free to tell about them while booking the course.
The rules of checking-in and checking-out at the host family are more or less the same as in a hotel: checking-in after 12.00 in the afternoon and checking-out before 12.00 in the afternoon.
